It is kind of a complicated issue we have a detached garage and the power had gone out to the garage a couple years ago and he rooted the electricity so that in order to power the garage we had to turn on the lamp post. So part of this project was to put in a new line from the garage house so that it could always be powered and then of course to redo the line to the lamp post and always put another light on the garage. It was kind of complicated. He was good and professional and made some nice suggestions and he suggested a timer to put on the lamp host which was really a nice idea. He was excellent and we have used him in the past and he has always been happy to do the work.

It couldn't have been an easier or more pleasant process. We only had them come for an estimate, but we will certainly use them to perform the job when we are ready.

They were quick and responsive with the estimate for the job and although they were not the cheapest option, they were the ones we had the most confidence in. Within a week of awarding them the work, our project was complete. We are very satisfied and will use them again.

I'd give him an "A" for personality and a "B" for resolving one of our issues. He is very easy to work with, I just have one thing I need to follow up with him about. I would use him again just because I feel like he does follow through.

We wasted a month of time playing phone tag with a different electrician who had given us an estimate--this resulted in a no show and us with our backs against the wall to get a series of house projects completed. I found John Lotfey right here on Angie's List and he was AWESOME! Quick, punctual, and professional; He didn't seem to care that our job was somewhat small--it was important to us. Can't say enough good things. Would hire again in a heartbeat.

John's work is excellent! He is very knowledgeable about the electrical AND building trades. He was very respectful of our new home. John, and his assistant Steve, made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving the job site. He is at the top of my list for electricians and I plan to use him whenever the need occurs!
