I was in a tough situation without an electrical connection for my new hot water heater during the winter. I spoke with the owner, Ethan, who answered my call and was very sympathetic to my situation. I sent him a few pictures of the heater and electrical setup. He diagnosed the issue and arranged for his master electrician, Chris, to provide same-day service with no emergency fees or surcharges. Within a few hours, Chris arrived on site. He was courteous, competent, and efficient in safely and expertly wiring my water heater -- no simple task considering the older wiring arrangement of my 100-year-old residence. Chris patiently and clearly answered all my random layman's questions in terms I could understand. When the bill came, there were zero surprises, and it was in the exact amount that we had agreed upon. I will definitely be using Greater Portland Electric for my future electrical needs, and I highly recommend them to anyone requiring the services of an electrician.
