DISTINCTIVE TILE & DESIGN

While we were picking out the tile, they provided good advice, and we ended up with tile that we like very much. When we placed our order, they said that it would take two weeks for the tile to arrive. I asked them to call us when the tile arrived, but two weeks went by and we didn't hear anything. I called them to find out what the status of our order was, and had a difficult time getting them to tell me. Apparently, the tile company sent the wrong tile, so it had to be returned. When the replacement order arrived, part of it was still wrong, and the process had to be repeated. This took an additional two to three weeks, and delayed the finish of our project. Throughout this process, I asked them to call me to let me know what was going on, but they did not. Eventually, we got the correct tile, but the delay and lack of communication was very frustrating.

Highly recommend this vendor - they assisted us every step of the way from picking out a tile that matched out needs, advising on material, color, etc, to installation. The installation was the best I've seen - we are so thrilled. And it was done on the schedule date and the installer was meticulous.

The tiles did not arrive when they said it would and shipping charges were almost double the estimate.

I am a Maine designer and work with Distinctive quite often. Although ALL of the staff is very helpful, I work most often with Stephanie and I am so very pleased with the assistance and expertise I receive. The showroom is beautiful and the perfect location to host client meetings. Larry, the owner, is nothing but welcoming and does his best to make everyone feel at home and comfortable in the showroom. They are very flexible and accommodating with difficult schedules. I am currently shopping for tile with Distinctive and I am so pleased to have the opportunity to work with them on another project.
