Joe and his crew are AMAZING. He responded to my email immediately - within an hour - and was able to come and look at the house within 48 hours. He delivered his estimate when he said he would, and we couldn't be more pleased with his work. He's also just a good human, along with being great to do business with.

The work was completed in the time described. I was more than satisfied with the crew who were very pleasant and receptive. I loved how the team worked with me while I made up my mind about colors. Someone was always available if I had questions. The prep work and carpentry and painting were performed in a very professional manner. All the planned deadlines were met and my gardens and surrounding yard were returned to their pre-work state. The estimate was very on target and my husband and I are thrilled with the results.

The difficult, complicated job went fantastically well. Joe Hagget was a great person with which to work. His crew was careful, friendly, thorough. Lots of clean up was done every night. They listened to my requests (and changes of mind) all through the huge project. I simply could not have had a better contractor or result!

Joe's crew painted our garage, shed and exterior of our house (siding & wood). We had peeling lead paint on our garage that they handled by laying out tarp and carefully cleaning up after scraping that day. Each day the crew tidied up. Joe communicated with me throughout the entire process. We'd definitely hire again!

Joe and his crew were great to work with. Very thorough in the prep work, which allowed the stain application to look as good as I'd hoped it would. Joe worked with me on how to deal with the wood rot and subsequent carpentry, and the final result was also excellent. His estimates came in at a very fair rate, and the value of the job was with every penny. Highly recommended!

I'd recommenced A&B Painting wholeheartedly. Even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Joe was very communicative and responsive. All work happened on time and was of excellent quality. When some repairs turned out to be more extensive than we first thought, Joe was careful to explain what needed to be done and how much it would all cost, and they really went above and beyond to get everything finished. Joe called me as soon as I e-mailed him for an estimate and was there the next day to chat about the project. Joe and his crew were at my home the next week as scheduled and worked for the next 3 days to have the entire interior of my condo painted and ready to show for an open house. The work was great and Joe came back to do touch ups and he even was willing to come back super early in the morning to paint our bedroom ceiling when we decided we should get it done in the 11th hour. For the most part, the work was excellent, though we realized a few days later some of the windows were painted shut. We need this project done fast and if we had time I know Joe would have come back and fixed this issue. The crew was quiet and respectful and we felt very comfortable with them in our home. Joe was super responsive during the whole project and very helpful. I will certainly use his company again and highly recommend them.

JT (Joe) and his team did an outstanding job painting the inside of our home in Portland. One advantage that A&B has over other area painters was punctuality. We interviewed several painters and Joe's estimate was sent in timely manner and he was able to start right away on our project. His team also excelled in quality. They came back after completing to do any touch up work that was required. Overall, my wife and I were very happy with the work that was provided, the timeline to completion and the price we paid. In addition to that we were also happy with his employees that performed the services. in addition to Joe, both Masami and Chris did a great job to provide quality work without disrupting our lives. A&B Painting, owner Joe Haggett and his crew, Chris and Brian, just did our downstairs, and we couldn't be more satisfied with the high quality of their operation. From the firm estimate ( no changes- the price given is the price paid) to theprep work, to the final result everything was done at the highest professional level. They carefully protect what is not to be painted( I have a library of many books), move what needs to be moved, return things to their original places ( art work) and clean up thoroughly.
