Over the last 15 years we have had 3 different property inspections for houses. This was by far the most thorough!

Jeff and team provided a very clear and detailed report. There were many helpful photos to go along with the text. I would definitely use Campbell Inspections again. And will recommend to anyone I meet looking for an inspector. They turned around a lot of information in the final report in a timely manner.

Being a first-time buyer, I initially tried going with the cheapest company I could find, only to not have calls returned and after a week, or two, no inspection happened. I did some more research to find an Inspection company that was rated well in the area with competitive pricing and came upon Jeff and Campbell Property Inspections. I immediately received text and phone responses and had an inspection set up in days. Jeff was thorough and helpful and explained a great deal that a novice, such as myself, found extremely valuable. I will be recommending Campbell Property Inspections to any and everyone I speak to that is looking for an inspection.

Campbell Property Inspections was very accommodating in fitting us in their schedule. we were paying cash for the home, there for the closing was extremely quicker than if financed. with that said, Campbell Property Inspections was able to get us inspected on short notice and with time left before closing. they were very prompt, punctual, and professional. the inspector took time to show me a what was happening, what needed my attention and what was good. he answered all my questions concisely and knowledgeably. taking the time to explain over the parts i didn't get the 1st time. even my "dumb" questions were answered with professionalism. he also was able to recommend solutions and local professionals to do the work. i would use again and recommend to all .

Outstanding. Excellent pictures, problems noted clearly written, format of report very easy to understand. On time inspection and inspection results. Very comprehensive reporting top to bottom of the house. Recommendations to repair or replace where necessary and locations of unusual locations of switches, pipes noted as additional information making it very easy to refer back to at later date. Definitely recommend this company.

CPI was on time and walked me through the entire inspection. I received my written report when it was promised. The nice thing is that the inspection and report showed me things I would never have thought about looking at and I was able to make an informed decision.

Where to start with Jeff? He owns a fine-tooth comb and is not afraid to apply it to his inspections in a most diligent manner. He has done two home inspections for me, and he saved me from a terrible mistake in purchasing the first home he inspected for me. His report was 73 detailed pages long, including what was wrong, why, and who would need to be contacted for repair. Not specific names, but the type of licensed professional needed. It turns out that "bargain" house was no bargain at all, and Jeff saved me well over $100,000 in required repairs, and a lot of heartbreak. For the second home inspection, he performed his usual detailed inspection, and because time was of the essence, he had a preliminary report with the major issues written up on the same day as the inspection, again, allowing for an educated decision on going forward with the home purchase or not. If it is possible to be too good at your job, Jeff definitely is that. There really is no stone left alone, and you know exactly what you are getting yourself in to with any dwelling. Hopefully I won't have to go through the home-buying process again any time soon, but if I do, and it's in Maine, my first call will be to Jeff Campbell!

Being first time home buyers it is an overwhelming experience in itself. Thankfully we came across Jeff and his team! They explained every little thing as we went through the inspection process. They answered every question we asked with an honest and professional manner. They thoroughly went through the home and braved the -10 weather to inspect the snow covered roof and didn't complain about walking through a foot of snow. We are extremely thankful for Jeff and his team for their thorough inspection as it greatly affected our decision. We have decided to decline the purchase of said home, however, we are looking forward to the opportunity to have Jeff and his team inspect the next home we find. We had Jeff perform an inspection of a home a few years ago. ....a home we were under contract to buy. But if turns out that house has radon, black mold, and needed thousands of dollars of other repairs, too. Jeff saved us from buying a lemon! So, we asked him back to inspect another home, which we are buying now. And he performed his very efficient job. Now, we'll finally buy a new house!
