He tested all equipment before I took them and they all work great

This was a 2 year old Craftsman mower with key start and Briggs and Stratton engine. Last fall the key start quit working mid-mowing leaves and charging the battery didn't help. This spring I took it to Clarky's for a tune-up and to get the key start working again. Steve had the mower for over a week while I was out of town, and he tracked down the 3 problems the mower had. The old battery was dead (I'd left it in the mower over the winter, not a good idea) and he replaced it with a better battery that I will take better care of. Then he cleaned the carburetor and replaced some of the parts that were damaged by water in the gas at some point. The mower now started, but when he tried to restart it when it had been running, it would not restart. More head scratching, and finally he determined that the auto choke system had worn out prematurely. A new assembly was ordered and installed. I've used the mower since returning it home and it works like new. I will not be buying a mower with an auto choke when this one needs replacing. Of the $145 I spent, only $40 was labor. He was more than fair, I know he spent more time on this mower than he charged me for.
