+ -1 moreIt was installed in a timely manner , however upon the first use (the following fall) the mechanism became all tangled and stuck in the chimney. Having already been paid i expected i would not be able to get him to come back to rectify the problem , as his truck had Florida plates. After a few calls and a few months the chimney man arrived to work on the problem..Having completed the repair he asked for and i reluctantly paid for a second installation charge Again trying to use it for the first time . again after the repair, the unit became jammed in the chimney. This chimney cleaning system is a piece of S&%T. Think twice before using The Chimney Man

Description of Work: Cleaned woodstove chimney from the roof and interior door and inside pipe from stove to chimney. It was great all I had to do was answer the door and write the check. They were efficient, on time , and friendly. Mark also checked my furnace chimeney for any blockages when I asked him about it free of charge. Draft was good and he cleaned out a few leaves.

+ -1 moreMark arrived on time, introduced himself and got right down to business. He first assessed the problem, gave me an estimate and told me what he was going to do. I agreed and he did the work he described. He also did an inspection of our chimney and said that it needs to be tucked and pointed. Not knowing what that was, he explained. He will be coming back within the next two weeks to fix it.
Description of Work: Repaired the flashing and caulked the chimney.
