It didn’t happen. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! The driver would not perform duty bc 2 (45 pound) golden retrievers in the yard! Didn’t call my updated phone number to tell me this, wouldn’t give me a timeframe (I work 5 mins from my house) and still charged my credit card 2 days before the work was “not completed”! This company is not professional, does not take responsibility and now I’m on day 4 without a shower, or anyway to clean dishes or laundry. Choose a local company that treats customers with dignity.

We hired Blow Bros. via our contractor to provide a portable toilet at our home during renovations. The toilet was dropped off the week before the renovation was to start. I was present and had a lengthy conversation with the Blow Bros. service man as to the best location of the toilet. We have a long driveway and at the time both of our cars were in the driveway next to each other. Together, the service man and I decided that a location behind the cars closest to the house was acceptable. I asked him about servicing the unit and he informed me they come weekly to clean and service the unit; he also said that the unit was easily "dragged". This is all that was communicated to me regarding the location and service of the unit. For 3 weeks my husband and I would hear the service man arrive on Tuesday mornings usually between 6:30am and 7:30am. I personally saw the service man walk up to the unit open the door and leave (appearing to do nothing) a couple times. That observance along with the smell that started lofting from the unit made us think they weren't actually cleaning it. However, we gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to observe another week and then call if necessary. On this last Tuesday, the service man arrived and this time dragged the unit up the driveway toward his truck, I still didn't see him actually do anything to it but again, I'm not a portable toilet expert so I figured he knew what he was doing. However, the service man left and did not move the unit back to its original location and left it in the middle of our driveway blocking one of our work men's trailers. My husband called several times to get someone out to move it back and we were informed that it had to be moved as it wasn't in a serviceable location. My husband then had 2 questions, "why was it serviceable the 3 weeks prior to this week" and "why didn?t the service man ring the doorbell to communicate or ask someone to move vehicles". My husband spoke with Wayne the portable toilet "manager". Wayne informed him that his men couldn't possible take a minute to communicate as "one minute would put them one hour behind". He also said that the unit had to be within X feet of the truck (something that was never communicated to us by the service man when he dropped it off). Wayne also avoided answering the first question as I imagine doing so would mean he would have to admit that they hadn't serviced the unit for 3 weeks without communication as to why. The only communication they made to anyone was the week they left the unit in the middle of the driveway; they called our contractor and left a VM. Then it gets better...Wayne then changes his story to inform my husband that his service man in fact did speak with our workmen (what happened to the 1 minute = 1 hour rule?) and they "refused" to move their vehicles. This was a blatant lie as his service men arrive between 6:30am and 7:30am on Tuesdays and the workmen don't arrive each day until after 7:30am. We also confirmed with the workmen that no one from Blow Bros. spoke with them. Finally, not once did Wayne ever ask the question as to why it was in the original location in the first place. This is the point we realized that Blow Bros. were not interested in actually trying to work with us and communicate with us to collectively come up with a solution. They were more interested in making up stories to cover their inability to provide clean facilities and good customer service. We called our contractor to have their unit removed from our property as Wayne said he could only take direction from the contractor as he was the one "paying" for the unit. I think if Blow Bros. intends to remain in the construction industry they should read up on how renovation contracts work. I can assure you we are the ones who were paying for the unit. In addition, we had been using them on and off over the past 10 years for septic service, we will no longer do so.
Description of Work: Provided a portable toilet at our home during renovations.

They were scheduled to come on Wednesday, November 13 and never showed. When I called that day at 3PM to see if they were still coming their office assured me they would be there by 6PM. When I called the following morning they said they couldn't make it out on the 13th and would be there today by noontime at the latest. When no one showed by 1:30PM I called to cancel and hired another company. I hung around for a day and half waiting for them - they never showed and they never called to say they were not coming. In my opinion that's very poor customer service and I have removed them from my list of reliable service providers.

having never dealt with construction sites, was pleased with how easy it was to contact Blow Brothers, order a porta-potty which was cleaned weekly for 6 months and appreciated by workmen and children alike. Called to cancel when finished and billing stopped and unit was picked up a few days later.
Description of Work: provided porta-potty for construction site. Also did a referral for dumpster. Made it easy for a novice to arrange necessary building site related waste handling units.

The driver arrive on time and was very friendly. He went right to work thanking me for digging the whole and having it all ready for him. He completed his work and informed me of a potential issue and what he recommended. He made sure to work clean, gave me a receipt and left with a thankyou and a smile. Will definately recommend.
Description of Work: First time my septic tank needed to be pumped for my new home. The company offered to dig the whole to find the cover if needed, for an additional fee. I declined and scheduled the service.

Well, the job was finished. But I think their company name says it all - They Blow!
Description of Work: The alarm in our basement went off for our septic tank late in the afternoon on 4/26/2011. That evening I called Blow Bros. and left a message on their voicemail. The next day I expected a return phone call but never heard from them. I called them back and of course there was some type of malfunction somewhere. So they said they would get somebody out on the Thurs. the 28th, but nobody showed. So again I called back. They made me feel like I was inconveniencing them! The following day somebody came out to look at the situation and pump the tank. We discovered the pump was broken and would need replacing. I paid for the pumping of the tank and called to make arrangements for a pump installation. Well that could only happen on Tues. the following week. O.K. we can deal with that. They showed up late and when they got to work I asked one of the guys if he wanted me to turn of "breaker" to the septic pump? He said no, we not up to that part yet. So I went inside and let them get to work. I happen to look out the window to see the other guy pulling on a wire with a pair of plyers and a huge spark errupts. He actually yells from outside, "You didn't trip the breaker?" So then I ran down stairs to flip the switch. They completed installing the pump, which took entirley too long, paid for the service and then they told me they forgot the "Riser" I had purchase. The Riser is an above ground cover so you don't have to keep digging and burying your cover in the ground. They should of been there the next day but it actually took 7 days for them to return and install the Riser. Then they didn't even bother to attemp to fix the dirt they shoveled. I guess for nearly $2,000.00 I expected a little more.
