We have been using Patten Grounds Care of Ogunquit since we moved to Wells in January of 2013 They have provided winter services- applying burlap around shrubs and bushes in preparation for winter weather. They plowed our driveway and shoveled walkways. They always came when they said they would. They mow the lawn regularly. You can choose the frequency- ie, every week, every other week... They will plant whatever you need planted. They will provide compost, mulch, plants... They have different teams that come depending on the service you require. They will provide referrals as needed. Everyone has done a great job in a courteous, professional manner. We have been very happy with the services Patten Grounds Care has provided the past two years. You get what you pay for. We are continuing to use Patten Grounds Care Services. I would highly recommend this company.

I love them, they're awesome. I don't really interact with them, they just come on a regular schedule so it's nice that you can set up a regular schedule. They're very efficient.

Patten's did my lawn work for several years. The crews were reliable, fast, and professional. The snow removal has been great. They show up within a few hours of the town plows and, in spite of my tough driveway, they do a great job. They clean out the walk for us after plowing. Their price is great for the service.

They came in the morning and walked with me through the area to be mowed. They listened to my concerns about perennial plantings and determined where to cut to protect the plants. They did the job fast and professionally and I am a very satisfied new customer, indeed: I am now on their schedule for mowing and plowing when the time comes. The pricing is very reasonable and I would not hesitate to highly recommend Patten Grounds Care, Inc. to anyone.

Patten Grounds Care is used by us for weekly grounds care, periodic landscaping and snow removal in the winter. They even shovel paths to the house and for the oil delivery. Excellent work

We had used John Patten and his team at a previous home for landscaping and snowplowing services. Our experience led us to request the builder to only dump topsoil on our property and we used Patten Landscaping to work on a design (back-and-forth, John always listened, made suggestions, followed our budget guidelines, etc.) People continue to drive by the house, stop, and take pictures. We have a winding gravel path from the front porch to the street, a simulated dry creek bed, and numerous varieties of ground cover to handle sun and shade. There was an unsightly curb/swale area that had a drainage ditch. John's folks installed a drain system, placed large rip-rap, and made it an attractive feature instead of an unsightly ditch. He is returning in the Spring of 2010 to finish a wild flower meadow field. The best part is that he listens and his team, many of them with him for several years, have the same professional attitude whether John is on site or not.
