+ -1 moreExcellent - Brian of B&B met with us on site on a Saturday to review the work that needed to be done. Brian was very knowledgable of the local code restrictions for tree removal on waterfront properties. Quoted a price on the spot for the four day job with a start date two weeks out. Brian reminded us to contact CMP to have the power lines taken down for the job. No up front charge - Brian said payment was due when the job was completed to our satisfaction. Brian, equipment, & 4 person crew arrived on time on the start date and completed the job in 4 days. Brian & crew made sure the site was clean before leaving. I will use B&B in the future and highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Needed to remove many large pine & oak trees from around our lake front cottage in preparation for an addition.

+ -1 moreBrian from B&B Tree Service was excellent. He responded quickly and was at our house within 48 hours to look at the trees. His quote was realistic and excepted on the spot. He had his equipment with him and the job was done on the spot in no time at all. He also adviced my husband on certain limbs that would need to be trimmed before CMP would be able to hook up power to the house. He was professional and courteous and we would hire him again.
Description of Work: We had B&B drop 3 -4 trees for us on our property that were near powerlines.

+ -1 moreIt was a scary looking scenario looking at the giant tree so close to house, road, wires, flower beds, fruit trees & fence. It was amazing that not even one small piece of damage with all the obstacles they had to work around & so high up. All men polite and checking everything out before they started..."where's the septic tank? Can we lower the wood here? We'll leave it here until the ground freezes up and then come back with the tractor & move it to the other side of the property next to the wood shed." . However the crew showed up 2 days later, put down metal mats that ran 150 feet over the lawns for protection and moved all the wood to it's final location as promised. The group of men raked and scooped up all sawdust and branches left anywhere....some even that were there before they arrived. No damage to lawn, house , trees or flowers. It was a delight to see such a well oiled team working together so seamlessly, so fast , so self assured, so safely. You won't worry one bit with these guys around. Impressive. My nephew in Rockville ,Md, had one similar tree that completely blew over in front of his house. It cost $5000 to cut it up & take it away. No aerial work.
Description of Work: They took down 2 one hundred+ year old maples....5 trunkers with cables grown thru their trunks that had held them together for 4 decades. The trees were 70 feet tall. This tree service had the best equipment.... like the municiple & cable companies hire. Two men in a big high reaching lift bucket..... One sawing , one directing the branches to the ground so they wouldn't fall on anything. One multi trunked tree was 3 feet from a multi functioning utility pole and there were numerous wires in & out around the trunks...electric, cable & phone. The many wires went in 4 different directions from the pole. There are other big transformer looking things attached to the wires & pole. There were multiple small fruit trees, flower gardens & a fence underneath this tree within 25 feet ,and my house was no more than 20 feet away . Not to mention the tree was on a state road with cars flying by. There was a crew of 6 men in matching dark blue outfits with , "B & B Tree Service" embroidered on their shirts in yellow. They had a big chipper machine that made short work of anything they fed it. This company was more than a class act. It was experience, skilled workers at their very best.

Description of Work: cut two huge evergreen trees from front yard. we opted to give wood to friends and they cut it up into manageable pieces.
