I had made arrangements each time they called in January and February but we had some snowstorms in between and apparently my efforts were insufficient. I asked again for prior notice and was told that was impossible. On Tuesday, March 11, 2014 I got another call telling me that the pipe was inaccessible and I need to have a path shoveled to it. I asked again to get a phone call so that I could arrange plowing and was told once again that this was not possible. Since I can’t predict when plowing will be undone by a snowstorm, I never know how to avoid failed deliveries.
Description of Work: I was on automatic delivery during 2014. In two cases, Seacoast called me to say that they weren't able to deliver oil due to an unsanded road or an inaccessible pipe for pumping. After the third time I asked that they notify me ahead of time so that I could make the necessary arrangements for plowing or sanding. I live on a private road. I was told that they were unable to do that. I understood that they don't know where their trucks are at any given time. All they can do is call to complain that a delivery. Apparently an attempt was made to deliver on December 31, 2013. They called me and told methat the road needed to be sanded and the next time they would be in “my area” wasTuesday, January 7th. On Saturday, January 4th, my pipes froze, necessitating expensive repairs, not to mention a $500. deductible.
