Showed up and dug up the old driveway, making it unusable, and sent an email asking for $ 3000 more than contracted as I "would not want to skimp on material. " Eventually came back and laid down "binder" but did not replace the perfectly good asphalt where the driveway opens to the street (placed by DOT) and left gravel, as well as a hill of dirt and uprooted trees making it impossible to walk behind my house. Since then multiple promises to complete the work (although they picked up and cashed the last check the first time that they promised to finish the following day) and multiple no-shows, with the last communication being 7/30 when I was told that they would get back to me. I now have personal circumstances and must be able to use my driveway for the next several weeks. It will cost me a lot more money to have another contractor finish the project, and they are suggesting ripping up what has been done as they say that it is substandard. I no longer have any faith in the contractor's probity or competence. My pictures are not on this computer or this network but I will try to send them separately
