We bought an older home that needed some TLC. Instead of replacing the floors, our contractor suggested having Glen come in and assess the situation. The floors were old and dirty and we just figured that we'd have them replaced. Glen was able to install wooden floors in our kitchen to match the other older flooring that was throughout our house. This is approximately 1650 sq ft of flooring & stairs. He and his daughter stripped all the floors and removed the 40-50 years of wear, tear and grime and then oiled them. OH MY GOSH! They are a beautiful dark blonde color and we could not be happier. Glen communicated with us throughout the entire process and told us what was going to happen, when, and what we needed to do. (Basically we just needed to stay out of the house until about 7pm one or two nights). I still look at our floors in awe. Now here's the kicker - our furniture was delivered about 2 weeks after Glen finished the floors and the moving company GOUGED the floor in one area. Glen is coming back out to repair the damage. We are very lucky to have found Glen and his daughter. If you call them, tell them that Susan from Saco referred you. He is worth every penny.
