Description of Work: I had a whirlpool tub upstairs that was leaking through the ceiling downstairs. I called and he was able to come over the next day.The job was very difficult for him to get to because it involved going through a ceiling and a wall, but he managed to locate the leak and repair it. I was very impressed when he showed up at exactly 8:00 am as he said he would. I am already planning on hiring him again.

+ -1 moreI was filling my waterbed and went to check on the hose where it was connected to the faucet. When I moved it the faucet broke. This caused quite a problem so I call the plumber I had been using for years. He told me he was busy and could not come for a week! I then checked Angie's List for a plumber within a 10 mi. radius and found Dahms Plumbing and Heating. I had to eave a message but was called back quickly. Steve came with a new faucet and replaced the broken one as well as fixed a leak under the sink. He is professional and dependable. Within in an hour and a half I was good to go. I found myself a new plumber. Anyone who calls Dahms Plumbing and Heating will be greatly impressed just as I was. If it wasn't for Angie's List I would probably still be waiting for the plumber I used for years!

+ -1 moreI came across a leaking water pipe in the basement - a thin but steady spray. With my DIY husband out of town for work and my experience with a similar incident 6 months earlier (that ended up with water everywhere & a very late night for the DIY husband), I scrambled to find a plumber. I made the call to Steve late in the day - he returned my call promptly from the baseball game he was attending, assessed the situation & offered to squeeze me in the following morning since I was OK with shutting off my water overnight. He showed up on time & quickly got to work, replacing the problem piece of pipe. He was finished in about an hour & only charged me $100...which I thought was a great deal under the circumstances - he could easily have charged me more for an emergency call for a new customer. I'll absolutely use him again - awesome customer service 7 just a great guy!
