They did a great job taking the tree down chunk by chunk from a bucket truck, so there was never any risk to the wires. We didn't even have to have CMP drop the lines. They encountered a wasp nest while one guy was high up in the bucket. He just came down to grab spray,went back up, sprayed 'em and kept right on cutting like it was nothing. I should also say we have a fairly steep semi-blind driveway on a busy road that has no room to pull over (snow ditches). We tend to worry about big trucks having trouble getting in and out. This was no problem for Q-team.

They responded to a request for quote within a day or two and spent perhaps half an hour walking the area to be cleared with us, taking notes regarding areas to be cleared and fallen trees to be removed. An estimate was given at that time within a $200 cost range and we were told the lead time was running a couple of weeks. We approved the work and they started within a week. The person who quoted arrived with the two men assigned to the job, reviewed what they were going to do during the day and invited us to check in and review their progress. They also checked in throughout the day to make sure they were doing the work consistent with our understanding. When they finished, because it was a Friday afternoon, they asked if pick up of the debris could be done on Monday. They has stacked everything into neat piles and out of the way so that was not a problem. Half the pick up was actually done the same day and the rest was removed by 10 AM on the following Monday. They had enough equipment on site to do a good job without disturbing landscaping. A bobcat with oversize tires pulled larger fallen trees out of the wooded area and didn't leave a mark on the lawn. A large truck with a powered crane picked up all of the piles on the side of the driveway and the driver got out and hand cleared what was left and raked out the grass. All of the people on site and in the people we spoke with in the office were polite and behaved as professionals. The cost was the midpoint of the estimate and the area they cleaned up looks great. We will use this service again.

I've used Q-Team in the past and I was thoroughly pleased with their work both times. All of the people I dealt with, from the office staff to the team of men taking down the dead trees, were professional and courteous. I would definitely hire this company again.

I would highly, highly recommend them for anybody. They were very reasonable. The price was very good and they were very fast, they were efficient. The owner was very, very nice. I'm sure if we had had any problems and asked them to come back it would have been a timely response also. We've had huge pine trees that have been there for probably 30 or 40 years and we were scared with the ice storms that we get in southern Maine and the high winds like we have today. Because they were so close to the home we wanted to get rid of them. And there were probably an estimate of 8 or 9 trees that were very very close to our home and so they cut them. There were a few of them that had leaves on them for their hard wood, and we do burn wood in our home, so we asked if we could keep those but the other ones they hauled off, took care of everything. They ground the stumps up for us. My husband had cut other trees, smaller trees around the house and the stumps were still there, and we asked if he could remove those stumps also and that was included in our price. Very, very fair estimate at what he charged us, very fair.

They were very good. They were honest, on time and cleaned up. They lived up to the agreement completely. Their price was competitive. I would use them again in the future.
