 + -1 moreWas on schedule and stayed on the job until it was done. He kept the yard clear and made sure that everything was in a safe condition and not blocking the entry ways. He had very little waste and did an excellent clean up when the job was done.
Description of Work: Terry Thompson is without a doubt the best roofer I have ever seen. His work is exceptional and very reasonable. His prices are very competitive and he looks out for the homeowner that is a veteran, senior citizen retired and on a fixed income, or disabled. He treats every job like it was his own home and makes it look great. He does metal roofing that is professional and will make sure the job is right even going out of his way to fix little problems he finds at no or very little costs. This contractor looks out for his customers and backs up his work. He fixed my chimney flashing, leaking sewer vent pipe and matched the metal flashing of the eves into the existing siding. Very happy and feel I was treated fairly.

Description of Work: Thinks that Thompson Contracting did a wonderful job on my bathroom remodel.... It was completley gutted out due to mold, so there for sheetrock, tub enclosure, floor, windows, closet, etc were all replaced. Took about a week for it all to be completed from gutting it out to paint and trim.... price was resonable and did a professional job... my husband and i are actually getting Thompson Contracting to come back this fall for a complete siding job on house and garage along with a deck and hot tub...

 + -1 moreWorst metal roofing job ever. The metal tore up the first winter and progressively worsened. This past winter a large portion of the roof blew off. The quality of the work was horrendous and the screws used to secure the metal too short. No slats under the roof. Insurance adjuster would not pay because of "EXTREMELY POOR WORKMANSHIP AND IMPROPER INSTALLATION" Use this contractor at your own risk as he does not follow the law and offer or provide a contract. Even told me to go ahead and take him to court. I won't get anything! UPDATE: After contacting the Attorney Generals office in Augusta, The contractor returned and repaired the damaged roofing! I will post updated photos soon.

 + 3 moreThe contractor started off good but failed to follow the law and establish a written contract. He got the renovations done but it took him over 6 months when it should have taken 3 or max 4 months. His crew would walk off or go to another job and I never knew when they would be on my job. After everything was paid to the contractor he left the job. The electric, trim, ceiling, stairs and one room were never completed. He did do a great job on the metal roof but the building was more than a roof.
Description of Work: Renovation of a building with commercial space downstairs and two executive apartments upstairs.
