J&S Oil was a breath of fresh air when it came to getting our propane tank filled. Each of the other vendors I talked to wanted to know how much propane I would use in a year (don't really know since we recently moved here and are still making decisions about fuels to use for drying clothes or adding ambiance through a gas heating stove), didn't seem to like the fact that I owned my own tank, and provided pricing that was above market rates. J&S only asked that I show them proof I owned my tank and told me the price - which was very competitive. Propane was delivered the next day. Person who came to the house was courteous and was done in 10 minutes. I was impressed. Hope they continue this no nonsense approach. If so, I'm a J&S customer for good.

Because of the volume of our purchase through the Apartment Owners Association J&s provides their product at a competitive price. Despite being a commodity product, every person I have contacted conducts their job in a pleasant and professional manner; from the delivery driver, to the office support and billing people, to the service group. They have been very responsive in proving service to meet our needs and I am partiocularly impressed with the knowledge and thorough manner in which they check and repair our propane systems since these units could present significant safety issues if not properly repaired.
