+ -1 moreThis job went surprisingly well. I was pleased to work with a contractor that was straightforward, reasonable to work with, and very good with their estimates of time and money. The house came as ordered and as scheduled. The foundation was ready for it to be placed immediately. The follow-up work was done expediently and well. The few minor issues (door difficult to open, paint scuffs) with the house were attended to cheerfully and quickly. The one issue that came up during the earthwork was finding ledge in the path of the drainpipe. This was resolved fairly and reasonably. Scot Jalbert performed all the services regarding the purchase of the house and was the general contractor for the subs. Scot is up-front, helpful, and great to work with.
Description of Work: Brookewood Builders sells modular homes and performs general contracting associated with the homes they sell, to provide a complete package. In our case they sold us a home from KBS Homes (in Maine), engaged and oversaw the earthwork, foundation, furnace work, plumbing, and added a porch to the house on site.
