The House Painters

When first hired in 2020, the Crockers seemed to do okay. But as time went on, problems with them developed. Not even weeks after the job was sort of completed, they still needed to redo the paint on the porch, the paint started peeling off the walls. They were very unreliable in showing up on days they said they would. So to make a long story short, they failed to complete the painting job we had contracted them to do. The painting they did was literally flaky. It has been four years (the job was guaranteed for five years) and every year they say they will come and fix the paint job but never show up. Needless to say, the house looks horrible with all the paint peeling off. Like someone else said, we very strongly urge people to NOT hire Chris and Jackie Crocker. They are con artists and will take your money and run, without completing the work they contracted to do for you. They will also do horrible painting and finishing job. Please---DO NOT HIRE these crooks!

Performed agreed to service. Very easy to deal with. Jackie & Chris were on the job each day and communicated great. I highly recommend them.

At first, the Crockers seemed to do okay. But as time went on, problems with them developed. They were very unreliable in showing up on days they said they would. In addition, the failed to complete the painting and carpentry jobs we had contracted them to do. The painting they did was shoddy. They refused to finish putting a second coat of paint on the house, and refused to finish the carpentry job, even though they had been paid to do so. Chris Crocker also intentionally ruined several of my lilac bushes and perennials, by breaking off branches he felt "were in his way," instead of asking me to trim them back. They got paint all over our window glass, then didn't scrape the paint off. When my husband told Chris and Jackie Crocker that we would not pay them the remaining balance for the job until they completed the work, Chris Crocker threatened to kill my husband. We filed a criminal charge against him, which the Attorney General's office listed as "Terrorism." Also, it is a crime to threaten to kill or bodily harm a Senior citizen, as my husband was 70 years old at time Chris Crocker threatened to kill him "if he didn't pay up." The court found Chris Crocker guilty and he was convicted. Chris Crocker has threatened other people in the past, according to criminal records. We very strongly urge people to NOT hire Chris and Jackie Crocker. They are fraud artists and will take your money and run, without completing the work they contracted to do for you. They will also do a shoddy painting and finishing job. Please---DO NOT HIRE these crooks!
