 + -1 moreHe arrived on time and had everything needed to do the fix. Another good experience with John and Lost Cabin Heating.
Description of Work: John helped me after hours on the phone to troubleshoot and diagnose a electrical problem with my furnace. The problem was the result of a power surge when I hooked up my generator after Hurricane Sandy. He pinpointed the component that had failed and ordered me a replacement circulation control unit. He was able to (while still on the phone) help me get the furnace running well enough to have heat while the part was being ordered. We set up a time that was convenient to install it and he was able to quickly get the re circulation system back on line.

 + -1 moreFantastic service! John Lavinge started by outlining a proposed system to upgrade my two oil furnaces (two buildings) into one heating unit with extended zones. He gave me the confidence to embark on the project and provided me sources to find the thermal freeze-proof piping. I did the ground excavation and preliminary pipework, and John finished up the connections and final installation. Everything has worked great with no problems. John also will be performing the routine maintenance and cleaning of the Buderus/Riello system.
Description of Work: Installation of Buderus oil-fired furnace, hot water tank, zone controls, cast iron & flush-mount traditional radiators, thermostats, auxillary plumbing lines. Installation of hot water recirculation system. Consultation on underground supply lines for heat & domestic hot/cold water to an outbuilding.
