Since they did not show up and do the work, I can not comment in this section.
Description of Work: I contacted Western Maine Wells upon the recommendation of another well company, who told me they had the proper equipment to hydrofrack my well. After three days of conversations and phone calls not returned as promised, Western Maine Wells did not show up or call on the day they were scheduled to arrive. I left a message questioning this. I received a phone call the following day, telling me that they had decided they would not perform the job.

Our well pump died at 7:30 am - had appt so went and came back and started to call for help around 11 - phone response was great, gave us approx estimate and said they would get us back up and running that day. By 1 pm the truck was at our house and by 4 we were back up and running, very friendly, professional and knowledgeable, not pushy, made recommendations, cleaned up everything afterwards treated us fair and recommended a filter for our water (we have a lot of sediment) and hooked us up with their plumbing supplier to get one that day and it works great! Would use again without hesitation, a true breath of fresh air!
Description of Work: Pulled out broken well pump from 350 ft well, replaced pump, wire and suspension rope, 2 filters

They were good. We ran into 2 surprises. 1) Even though we had ledge all around us the ledge where they drilled was 100' below the surface which added cost due to extra sleeving. 2) When they hit a good vein and started to flush out the hole they found that the walls of the hole were giving in making the water run dirty. We had to place the pump around the 440' mark to avoid further erosion within the hole. We had other options that were explained to us and this seemed to be the best, they were very knowledgeable about problem solving the issue even though it was a rarely seen problem. Overall, they were very responsive and did a good job for us. Price-wise they can be a little more expensive if the well is shallow around 200' but if it goes deeper the other guys we quoted get get more expensive and as you get deeper and deeper the difference in price gets much higher. Another factor about these guys is that we have heard and seen that they back up their work after the job is done.
Description of Work: They drilled a 700 foot artisian well which also required 100' of sleeving to get to bedrock. They also supplied the pump and line into the house as well as the 20 gallon storage tank. It was a complete package.
