BOND SPRING BUILDERS INC

Started off nice. Once building was 2/3 complete and the building inspector came to do a framing inspection, he found numerous violations including major structural roof problems with the house and garage. The builder self-admittedly did not consult any building codes nor did he have any of the engineered beams sized. They are all undersized and will all have to be replaced. Ruben Peidade of Bond Spring Builders took the inspectors report and left it at the project and has not returned. He tells us that he will not fix his mistakes. His take is that he submitted some plans (which are extremely vague) to the city. The City was to report to Ruben if the plans did not meet code. He also stated we would be in the home by the end of June and would pay the mortgage is we were not. He refuses to live up to that agreement. He has told us to sue his corporation. He feels that he can walk away scott free having created a financial problem and a massive structural problem in the house.

The deck was over 25 years old and had begun to sag. It projects out over a cliff and collapse of the deck would have been very dangerous. While they were replacing the supports they discovered that the original deck was not properly supported by the house walls. They recommended reinforcing the structure, which they did with additional studs and clip angles .They were very conscientious and easy to work with. The quality of their work was outstanding.
