This man refuises to carry " CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE" and he does not " WORKERS COMPENSATION " He walks away unable to fix a brand new kitchen floor . My fault for hiring some one with out " CERTIFICATE OF INSURANE " Buyer beware . Make sure before hiring him you get a active " Certifiocate of insuirance before working on your property

Rich made several good suggestions for rehabilitating an old deck and shed that needed some TLC. He came out with samples of painted pine to help with color selection, and provided a detailed written estimate. Initially he said he'd get to the project by the end of the summer (2014), but that time frame was delayed because he said a project for a friend went longer than expected. By mid October he called and said he had to cancel due to the weather getting poor, but he'd put us first on his list for May 2015. This seemed OK because we had contacted him fairly late in the season. We called him in late Feb 2015 to remind him about the work and get on his schedule. He assured us we were on for early spring. No word by early May so I called again; he said last week in June. I called late May, he said was still on track for the 3rd or 4th week in June. No word from Rich about starting so we called again in late June, he finally returned a call on July 2nd and said he was very busy and couldn?t get to it right away - if we didn?t find anyone by the end of July to give him a call. Since we had now come full circle with the previous year it was obvious to us that Rich wasn't going to do the work. Why he bothered to work with us initially and provide a detailed written estimate when he couldn't be bothered to actually DO the work I'll never understand. Messing around with RM Contracting cost us time and money, since by the time we realized he wasn't reliable, most contractors were already busy for 2015. This was a poor experience, we don't recommend him.

The level of service and professionalism was excellent. Rich was thorough and took time to insure what we wanted was exactly what we got. He offered us different design choices and insured the steps were short enough to accommodate my disability. We liked his work so much that he is coming back next week to install our kitchen cabinets!

Rich gets the job done quickly and professionally. He is extremely neat and keeps the work area clean while he is working and cleans up well when he is done. He is a man of many talents and can seem to figure things out well, as he did with the windows. Rich is now my go-to man when I need a variety of work done on my home.

Rich is excellent and leaves the work place clean and orderly at the end of each day. I would definately recommend using him and plan on using him in the future.

He arrived at 9a.m. and painted for 6.5 hrs. Left the area neat. I was happy with the job and would use him again for painting.

Rich gave me a written estimate and came within $20 of that estimate. He did the job in under a day and a half in sweltering heat. He is an incredibly neat worker and leaves the area cleaner than he found it. I also found that he had dome some touch up painting on areas around the door that he did not need to do. I will not hesitate to call on him again.

Rich come in under budget and on time. He did the rebuild properly according to to code and best building techniques.

After a horrid job done by another carpenter , we hired RM . They fixed every thing that the other contractor didn't , couldn't and broke in their attempt ! Now that the roof is fixed , the lights are working , the pantry is installed he has done an outstanding job with our new kitchen floor ! He is building our new shed . It is looking great . Better than any shed you could buy at any store ! He is a quiet smart man who goes about his work in a truly professional manner , so refreshing we truly appreciate him 100% !
