+ -1 moreSubfloors in 3 areas of the house were an inch or more out of level with each other. Tim Regan and Mike Thompson of Red Tail Carpentry did a heroic job of building up subfloors so that everything would be level for new hardwood throughout the house and tile for kitchen. The job expanded to more than twice the effort originally planned. Tim and Mike worked steadily on the expanded job and brought it to successful conclusion. The work came out beautiful. More detailed and timely billing should have been provided.
Description of Work: Complete remodeling of interior of our new home. It consisted of extensive rework of subfloors and installation of new hardwood floors; removal of paneling and dropped ceiling in 2 rooms and hallway; taped up the drywall and added skim coat ceilings in 2 rooms and hallway, and added new trim throughout; relocated laundry from cellar to enlarged closet on first floor; replaced 4 doors with new hollow core doors; converted a passageway to a closet; replaced 5 closet doors with bifold doors; installation of new kitchen cabinets and doors; and disposal of all debris. Red Tail procured all material except for hardwood and kitchen. They brought in responsive and good subcontractors for paint, electrical, plumbing, kitchen tile, and skim coating.

Description of Work: Had Timothy build an addition onto our deck as well as repair the existing. I was so happy with his craftsmanship that I decided to hire him for interior trim molding on our 110+ year old house. I was very respectful with the structure as well as cleaning up after each day. I plan to use Tim and Red Tail for our future kitchen renovation.

+ 0 moreTim was great. He was very professional, showed up when promised and worked every day until completion. He is extremely detail oriented, neat and was very responsive to calls and emails. Tim wasn't the lowest quote we got for the job, but we feel he did the job right, didn't cut any corners and we were very pleased with the finished product. We also felt like we could trust him and believe him to be of outstanding character and in an industry of less than trustworthy contractors, he stands out. We would and have recommended him highly to our friends and family.
Description of Work: Removed 19 windows and french door and replaced with brand new energy efficient windows and slider. Fixed damaged siding and trim.

We sub out to our guys all electrical and plumbing, as well as any insulation work. We don't look for roofing work, but will do a few every year.
