+ -1 moreWe asked Robert to work on our house after meeting him when he was installing a new electrical panel for the previous owners. His work is excellent - I can't stress that enough. Above and beyond being a master electrician, he is also very practical and analytical in all aspects of his work. When you see the finished project you are likely to say, "I'm so glad you thought of doing it that way - it's perfect!" He really is exceptional. If he were a general contractor, I'd never need to hire anyone else.
Description of Work: Robert and his assistant installed garage door openers, replaced an outlet, installed a new ceiling fan, repaired an existing ceiling fan, replaced a nonfunctioning two-way switch with a good dimmer switch, and installed a new light fixture and new outlet in the basement.

+ -1 moreI have used them for years and years. He normally does not take on new customers. He always gets back to me and comes when expected. He has got good business. He is very responsive. He works through a lot of big problems. He is good. I would give him top marks.
Description of Work: I used Robert Emmons Electrics. He has done a number of things, nothing too major. I had exterior lighting that had problems. He fixed that. He put in a line for my box for my emergency generator. Mostly little things. I had an outlet in the house that something happened to. Him and his assistant came over last time and put in a new outlet. This was months ago and the cost was reasonable. I don't recall the exact price.

Description of Work: We were so impressed with the service. He arrived on time and did several different things with a professional air. I would recommend him to anyone that asks. Everything he fixed (moving canister lighting, fixing fan, fixing electrical outlets, and more) was done quickly and neatly. He promised to do work on our generator and was back as scheduled and did an outstanding job on that also. The only problem we had was getting in touch with him by phone. However, I would recommend keep trying. His work is remarkable.

+ -1 moreIt was all subcontracted out. It was good work. As far as working with a bigger project, he was able to give us advanced notice on what we needed at what time. He was flexible about meeting us when we had time to talk about where we wanted light fixtures, etc. He was a little hard to get in touch with when he wasn't here, but he showed up on time and we had last minute things we wanted done at the end of our project and he got them done quickly. We were waiting around for weeks. He was punctual and professional, it was just hard to get a hold of him when he wasn't here.
Description of Work: We use Robert Emmons Electric intermittently through out the summer.
