Terrible Service Borders on unethical.

It did not go well. First, they misdiagnosed the problem and promised the needed part in two or three days. When I heard nothing after 3 days, I called and learned that their technician who had diagnosed the problem was no longer with the company. When the part didn't arrive for another week, I called again, and a different technician came out and gave a completely different diagnosis. Another part had to be ordered, which added two weeks to the repair time. Problem was finally fixed after elapsed time of about 4 weeks. The original charge was around $900 as I recall, and when I complained, they reduced it to $700, which is still outrageous. They tried several times to sell me a whole-house surge suppression system, which I really didn't want or need. I had to spend a lot of time on the phone with these people to get any satisfaction. I will never use them again.

I called and was able to speak to someone immediately to book a service call. Though they give a window of several hours for arrival time, the repair technician from Tedesco/Appliance Express arrived at the earliest part of that window, quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a short time. He was personable and efficient. I would certainly call them again. I appreciated how easy they made it for us. The work was done at our second home and it can be difficult to arrange to have contractors come during the time we're there.
