Poor customer service, poor phone or text response with questions/issues on job site, shoddy work, always has an excuse for not getting the job done, or done correctly, extremely poor workmanship, high price for amount of work. The crew he hired took a door from my property and did not return it when I brought to his attention. When confronted about my missing door, he replied "it's at my workshop", yet he has not returned it. I fired him from completing the remainder of the job due to the above reason, and many more listed. I took pictures from start to finish of the job. Pictures tell the entire story. He had excuse after excuse as to why the people he hired did poor workmanship. He took no responsibility as the contractor. He said he was at my house "4-5 times" to check on work progress. I am a stay at home caregcaregiver/nurse for my husband...if he was here the "4-5 times" he,claims...then you would think as a contractor he would come and see the homeowner and check in. Especially since I sent him multiple texts about concerns on the work that was being done (or should I say NOT being done). I would not rehire or recommend Dave Ireland Builders or any of his sub contractors.

Was not at all responsive to telephone calls, never came to follow through never did a full inspection, and was very unprofessional. Crew actually used my washer and dryer while I was away! None of the 12 recommendations made by people who had used his services before were forthright and honest with me when I called for their input!
