About us

For Mac & Quack’s owner Andrew MacDonald, working with insects and wildlife has always been a family affair. He grew up on a honey bee farm in upstate New York and learned about colonized insects like bees and ants from his father, who held a Master’s Degree in Apiculture, the science of bee-keeping, from Cornell University. Andrew spent his younger years trapping for the fur market, and was a licensed trapper at only five years old! He started Mac & Quack’s while still in high school, and has been working with insects and wildlife ever since.

They were first rate! They are on time, perfect, personable, reasonable, friendly, and just overall great! They haven't' had to come back because they did such a great job!

They are incredible. I have used them for many years. They are very responsible and knowledgeable about what they do. They always tell us when they are coming, what they are doing, and when they will be done. Before they leave they will let us know how it went and how much it will be.

They were excellent. They check the outside of the house and they also go on to the attic. They actually set some tracks and then release them. They were really good and I think their price is good too. They are somebody we would call again if we needed to. They are always on time.
Description of Work: I used Mac And Quacks Wildlife Pest Control three years ago to fill in some places because we had flying squirrels.

Description of Work: We used Mac and Quack about six years ago and remember them as being good at what they do. However, since that time the summer island where I live is overrun with mice, voles, carpenter ants, etc. etc. Over ten houses have signed up to work with this firm. My contact with Andy MacDonald [?] was pleasant and straightforward. He was very professional about replacing the former firm that worked on the island. I highly recommend this company. It is necessary to hire someone who can deal with wildlife; all pest control companies do no take care of problems with bats.
