John did a great job on a variety of projects, including installing a rail on a staircase, painting, power washing a deck and other small projects.

John did an outstanding job on about 9 projects for us. His estimate was fairly priced, he showed up when he said he was going to and did high quality work. It was a bonus that John is such a friendly and engaging guy.

John installed crown moulding, wainscot wall panels and chair rails in our kitchen and dining room. The finished product was phenomenal. John is truly the best contractor we have ever hired. He is a true professional! He had excellent ideas and guided us throughout the project. John has an excellent work ethic. He was always on schedule and very neat. John is incredibly nice and a joy to work with. Our only regret is that we didn t find him sooner!!!! John will always be our go to contractor! He is simply the best!

Very very rude and disrespectful I m very disappointed I feel not only was he rude but over changing me because he kept saying I live in a half a million dollar home well so what I am disabled and on a fixed income and a single mom of five children I am totally disgusted

He did a small area of painting all he had to do was to put primer on then paint. Went down looked like someone had dropped a smoke boom. Tomorrow we have a cleaning grew coming in to clean the area sanding dust all over.

John replaced a badly made wooden ramp at my mobile home. The shoddy ramp was built with no expansion space between the boards resulting over a few years with warping, bent and bowed boards. Another factor was assembly with non-rustproof screws. About 1/2 of those screws had rusted and broken all of which made an extremely dangerous walkway. You ask why did I hire th em? I didn't. The state paid for it through our local Community Action agency who hired the lowest bidder, of course. John's ramp started with a visit to my home to discuss what had been dome and what he planned to do -complete opposites! Emailed an estimate next day that was reasonable and specific. I agreed and we set a date, convenient to me. One afternoon to get the good looking wood and stainless steel screws. The next day, he built the ramp including total cleanup and disposal of the old materials. We could not be happier with what he did for us. His wife, Pam, was very pleasant on her paperwork side of the repair. If I could give him 10 stars I would, so here are the other 5: *****. Thank you John. BTW: John called 5 days later to ask if everything was satisfactory. A proud craftsman.

John was fantastic, he was very prompt with a call and came out and gave us an estimate. He was very helpful with ideas for the porch and roof. He was there when he said and had it completed in no time. It looks fantastic. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I hired Advantage to screen-in an existing farmers porch. John and Adam did an excellent job in designing the project which required some creative solutions to difficult challenges. They were closely with me to procure the needed materials and scheduled the job in a timely manner. On the first day of work, they showed up on time and worked long hours; they were able to complete the project in two days as a result. I had recently had the house painted, and John was able to stain the screen porch to match the color although this wasn't in my original specs. Both John and Adam are perfectionists and this showed in the quality of the final product. My wife and I were very pleased with the work and would recommend Advantage to anyone. We certainly plan to contact John if we have other projects down the road.

This is our second project (snow roof extension) with Advantage Handyman and like the first it was first rate. John was a pleasure to work with. He listened to our needs, worked with us on our design and delivered quality workmanship. We would highly recommend!

John arrived on time, was professional, and did quality work. He replaced an exterior door along with the screen door, and it looks fabulous, is secure and fits 'like a glove'! Loved his work, and plan on hiring him again.

The job was to install two wooden hand railings on our two entrances. John did the work in a very timely fashion. The work itself was of the highest quality and showed wonderful workmanship. I would recommend him to anyone in the area.
