Description of Work: Coastline is a modular home builder. Coastline ownership was changing at the time we contracted to have our home built and they seemed to be over-committed, overwhelmed. and understaffed during the time of our construction period. There were five other closings on the same day we closed on the contract for our house. As it turned out subcontractors were in turn subbing the work out again and some of the onsite work was sub standard. Still, in the end, Coastline came through and corrected all the defects that were on our "bucket list". We do not rule out using them again if another project develops.

+ -1 moreMy son reports that they were very responsive during the pre-sale however once the house was placed on the lot they were very slow in finishing it up. There is quite a bit of post-sale work that goes into placing a pre-made home on a lot. Communications with the president of the company were quite disappointing and, while I have not dealt with them directly, once we started asking around we have found that they do not have a good reputation with customer service. It would have been nice for us to know before we started the process of buying my son's first home.
