The process went fine and we were happy with their work. The price was very competitive and I would recommend them others.

Mike Gallagher arrived for the estimate on time and ready. He called the next day with the estimate figure, which was a full $2000 dollars less than the other ones we got. He said he could do the work in 2-21/2 weeks. He started 2 1/2 weeks later. He got the job done in 2 days...his estimate was 3-4 days. His workers were very respectful and worked hard. They cleaned up at the end of the day and at the end of the job. I am very pleased with the work he did for us and believe this is the way he treats everybody. Really, we were just the next job. I am happy to recommend him to anyone looking to have a roof replaced

Mike Gallagher of Gallagher Roofing is one of the best contractors I've hired in several years. Our house was built around 1910 and when we bought it in April of 2011 we knew it needed the roof replaced but, we hoped to defer the job until 2012. However, immediately after hurricane Irene passed through Old Town the roof began to leak. We immediately began the search for a roofer that could do the job quickly. We found Mike on Angie's list and we called him up. He was prompt in providing his estimate (the next day) and he clearly explained what he was going to do. Mike also clearly explained any variables and how much each could impact the cost. Mike started the job on the day he committed and he finished very near the estimated completion date. Mike and his crew showed up to work every morning and they put in a long, hard day. They did a really good job of cleaning up when the job was completed and we're confident the job has been done right. Mike was an excellent communicator and he always followed up with everything he committed to; if he said he would call me the next day, he did it...every time. I would highly recommend Gallagher Roofing based on our experience with with them.

I called about seven roofing companies in the Bangor area and Gallagher Roofing was the only one that actually answered the phone! The man that answered would not give me an approximate time for when he would arrive to give us an esimate for our leak but he actually showed up within a couple of hours with another person to help out. From researching online how much it might cost to repair a leak I was expecting to spend between $500-$100, but they stayed and patched the leak right away and only charged us $50! He let us know that we should replace that section of roofing in the near future, but didn't pressure us do it. I was very pleased with the service.
