Not good. Roof leaked after the new roof was installed and they have been unresponsive to my messages left for them to return and check things out. I have been trying for over two years to get them to return. I have a ten-year warranty. Time to hire a lawyer.

Central Maine Exteriors was professional, reasonably priced, and did not try to sell us extra services. Would use again.

I met with the owner of this company in May of this year. He sounded ok and had a plan for improving the insulation in my house by replacing siding and putting in new windows. We planned on having his people start around Sept. I later met with his step-father who was the project estimator and got a quote. At that point, the step-father asked me for a $1000 deposit, so that they could "get me in their books", he said. Yet they did NOT have a set DATE for when they could do the work. Only days later, they CASHED the $1000. Since I was out the money and did not hear any set date for when they planned to start the work, I called once every 2 weeks. Throughout that time, they kept telling me they do not have a set time. Kind of fishy, don't you think? NEVER in the 6.5 years I've owned this house and hired contractors, have ANY of them taken a DIME from me until they START the WORK....And CERTAINLY NOT before they've even SET a TIME that I can EXPECT them to start. They had excuses like not knowing the weather conditions and not being able to predict months in advance. But I called them RIGHT UP until only WEEKS before mid-Sept. They kept telling me that they still planned to start the work around that time and there were no issues nor set-backs. But still NO set date...And they still had my money. I was still hanging in suspense. THEN, one day in early Sept, I get a call from the step-father, informing me, for the first time, that they CANNOT do the work ANY TIME this season and won't be able to get to me until next spring. I sure wish they'd have told me that sooner! The step-father had to give me the lamest and most ludicrous excuses, with no accountability what-so-ever. Oh, yes. They DID refund my $1000 deposit that I paid for nothing, months ago. And, yea...I don't like to publicly trash local contractors, realizing they work hard, have stressful situations, hardships, unforeseen events, etc. But there are MANY all over this area who do excellent work, who do NOT string anyone along, who, at the very least, have the common courtesy to forewarn their customers if there are issues, set-backs, or if they can't do the work before months go by. I've NEVER met ANY that have taken a cent from customers until they can commit to getting the work done. Most won't until they've actually started. As it turns out, I'm really glad that these guys will never get any business or money from me! I have now hired an excellent builder who is hustling to get the work done before winter and is earning his pay. It's not fair to all the others like him, as well as customers who rely on accountability, if I do not express my concern and warn others about the unacceptable business practices I experienced with Central Maine Exteriors.

No one ever contacted me to do the roofing job!!!!!! Still waiting to hear from someone.

Had several companies come out and give estimates on the spot. This company was not one of them. 3 weeks later and several calls being told I wasn't forgotten, the estimator decided to go on vacation for a week without giving me the quote. Not impressed at all.

Brandon arrived for the estimate on time and provided valuable information on what materials would be best for our roof. We decided on Duration shingles by Corning Owens. Brandon was personable, knowledgeable, professional and very easy to deal with. The roofing team arrived a few weeks later on the day promised. They did a beautiful job removing the old shingles and installing 30 squares of new ones. The team was friendly, courteous and did an amazing cleaned up afterward. The job was completed in 3 days.

Brandon and his crew did an excellent job. I liked the fact that Brandon was here on site with his crew. They finished the job on time. All of my questions were handled with complete satisfaction.

1) Called and left a message, he returned my call 2) He said he's come the next week on a Thursday at 5:30 to give us a quote-and he did-gave us a quote on the spot (he may not do that on every job) 3) We agreed on the scope of the work and and price-he estimated about when he'd get to our job 4) He emailed about the time he had estimated he'd get to our job with a date. 5) Crew came on the date agreed. Great crew, personable, professional, clear communication, answered any questions we had along the way. They came, they did the work, they left. 6) We could not have asked for anything better, will definitely use again..in fact we already have a project in mind for next year.

I can't say enough good about them. Although they had got a little behind, they more than made up for it. We just went through that horrible wind storm and not a thing got lose!! We have another small project that we might plan on next year and they will definitely be the ones we ask.

Excellent results, the work was completed in two days. Brandon went out of his way to find the color roofing I was looking for. The crew also did a great job of cleaning up the job site when they were finished. I'm very pleased with the results.

I was very happy with the results on the roofs -plus the professional attitudes of the workers--prompt on time - fast workers - nice to have good people around that do their jobs!

Brandon quoted and discussed all of the available options; metal vs. shingles. I went with shingles. The guys were prompt and professional. The roof looks great and they finished in four days. They needed to coordinate a few things with my bf, like fitting a chimney pipe and plumbing vent pipe--that went very smoothly. The neighbors are already complimenting the roof and the work ethic they saw on display.

They were very efficient and got the job done quickly. I would recommend their service and would use them again if need be. The finished product looks really good and they worked directly with my insurance company. I didn't have to do a thing.
