My contact with co-owner Chris was superb. There were several glitches with the removal and installation which were immediately addressed and corrected to my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to hire this company again for their timeliness, responsiveness and customer satisfaction.

They did an excellent job. They showed up when they were scheduled to and completed the job in a timely fashion. If I needed any of their services, I would not hesitate in hiring Safe Environmental Solutions and I would recommend them to others.

We needed to have this job completed in a timely way since it is a condition of the sale of the house. We contacted the company about a week and a half before the job was done. Initially their schedule would have allowed the work be done in about 3 weeks. However, just a week later they had a cancellation and were able to complete the job sooner. It took the a day and a half to prepare the house with all the needed protections for the workers and our property and the complete the job and clean up afterward. The protective set up was completed without damage to our house, this is a consideration since a complete enclosure was built in the kitchen to allow access to the basement while keeping any contamination enclosed. When the work was done the house was in the same condition as when the work began. No scraps, no mess, clean and neat. Each time we met with staff from the company they were on time, courteous, and answered all of our questions completely in ways we understood. The staff member that we dealt with on the phone to make arrangements and address questions was consummately professional and pleasant. When she was not available one of the two owners answered calls and was, like wise, helpful and professional. Paper work confirming the completion of the work was in our hands within days. A complete explanation of the rest of the process, encasement of debris, delivery of this material at a storage site and the necessary paper work that will remain at the house was thorough and well explained.

I used Safe Environmental Solutions for the removal of the asbestos on the heating pipes in my home in South Portland prior to listing it for sale. This was a two day job in a 1920's home. In addition to the difficulty of working in an older home, low ceiling with many opportunities to bump your head, they had to work around 20 years of storing collected items in the basement. They had no problem moving the larger items which, as a single homeowner, was a big help for me. When the job was completed everything was returned to its original place. The staff was very professional, arrived on time and completed the job as promised. All this and a great price too. One of my best experiences with a contractor.

An attic is one of those "I hope it's working like it should" spaces and, unless there's a need, you may never go there. In the 20 years we've lived in our home, I've only gone up there once to evict a grey squirrel who was late on their rent and busting up the place. A buyer's inspection of the attic revealed mold on the roof decking and rafters. Safe Environmental Solutions (SES) set up a chamber around the closet with the attic access hatch to keep the blasting media and mold from entering our home. In the attic, SES laid poly sheeting and used a negative air machine for dust control while blasting and cleaning. After the baking soda blasting they fine cleaned using HEPA-vacuuming and damp wiped with water/mild detergent. They re-installed the blown-in fiberglass insulation and installed new rafter-mates to allow the ventilation system to work like it should. They also made a new insulated attic hatch with a handle and hooks to keep it sealed closed. At the close of the job, SES provided a report with pictures of the attic space. I would definitely recommend SES to anyone looking for mold remediation. I was very impressed with SES's professionalism, promptness, and care of our home while the job was done.

They did a great job! Fast, professional, polite, and cleaned up after themselves. They were even considerate of the fact that I work from home, and modified their process to limit any impact to my ability to work while they worked. The crew from SES is great, and i would highly recommend them to anyone.

The job was to remove the mold that had formed near three disconnected vent pipes that passed through the attic and then to reconnect the pipes. They were prompt and remarkably tidy. Because they were dealing with mold spores they completely sealed off the room that gave them access to the attic. (Of course, because the room was sealed off while they worked and because I would have had to borrow a ladder to access the attic after they left, I have never actually laid eyes on the work they did! I believe that the work was done as promised.)

Safe Environmental Solutions were great! This is the second year we've used them for our training, and they're always prompt in getting back to us with available dates that work with our schedule. The come right to our office, which is a definite perk and the instructors are easy to work with, give you all the information you need and keep it as exciting as possible (let's face it Asbestos isn't the most fun topic). The cost for the services in our opinion is very worth it, there are trainings out there for much more, that give you much less. I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

All work was on budget and on schedule.
