 + -1 moreHe asked what the other roofers had said they were going to do and wanted me to tell him what needed to be done. He was very unprofessional.
Description of Work: Eric Johnson is the project manager, I gave him clear directions to my home, he wasn't able to follow the directions. He arrived completely unprepared - he was to check a problem with my roof. He didn't have a ladder to get on my roof. When I commented on how he will fly up on my roof. He said I don't need to go up on your roof, I've seen roof's before." My feeling is that if that is the case then why couldn't he give a quote over the phone. He was out on May 8 and today is the 19th I received a thank you - no thank you we're not interested because we're too busy.

 + 3 moreEric's teams are superlative workers and craftsmen. They pick up after themselves each day, their materials are always neatly stacked and protected from the weather. They speak courteously, keep their music under control and are superb Craftsmen. Every joist they installed, every cut they made, every nail they drove was done with care and precision. The project manager on our side is a very demanding interior designer with many top notch projects in her portfolio. She could find nothing wrong with their work and truly enjoyed working with them. Their price is not inexpensive but the quality of their work and their professionalism easily justifies the investment in their planning and execution. Do not think of hiring a different team if you can get them. Also, they work with an architect and a structural engineer who both did wonderful work on their professional part of the job. Overall we got a best practices solution for a very reasonable investment.
Description of Work: Eric and his team took out the ceiling in our family room and installed a vaulted ceiling, a new fireplace and chimney box on the roof. The job called for restructuring support columns in existing walls, adding a new header over one of the garage doors and adding a large beam at the ridgeline. It was a pretty major overhaul of substantial structures in the existing home.
