HAMBLIN SEPTIC TANK SVC

I called Jeremy Hamblin on referral from another local company that referred me to him. I was in a rush, as my septic system was backed up. I talked to him at about 8:15 in the morning, and filled him in on what was going on. He asked me several questions which I was unsure of the answer to some of, but he took it in stride and told me he could be there in a couple hours, as he had to go into Portland and then had a couple of stops in Yarmouth as well. He let me know that he would be charging $265 to pump a 1000 gallon tank. I was so relieved he could come out soon, and he wasn't trying to charge me double for fast service. He arrived shortly after 11, and got right to work. I explained what I could about how the system was laid out and connected, and he did an amazing job, not only pumping the first tank, but digging on the second cap as well as the cap on the second tank.he did everything we asked and really went the extra mile to help us out of our bad situation. He explained that one of the tanks that was supposed to be a 1000 gallon tank is probably a 1250 gallon tank in actuality, since he pumped right about 1250 gallons from it. All told he pumped well over 2000 gallons, but he stuck to his quoted price for 1000 gallon tanks, even after he got out his shovel and tools and pretty much dug out the caps himself. He answered all my questions and explained how it works and what he tried, and basically went above and beyond for me, and it was a huge help. I can't say enough about him being a great guy, and doing right by a customer, and working hard and making an honest living. I will continue to call Jeremy in the future, and will recommend him to anyone in the area ahead of anyone else. A+
