John Gore and his crew were professional, friendly, efficient and took great care of all of our goods. Everything arrived in perfect condition and he and his crew went above and beyond helping to get us settled into our new home. We would highly recommend Gore Movers!

John and his team were fantastic with our Maine to upstate New York move. We have a lot of keepsakes/antique items that require extra care. John's team came in, went about their work very efficiently. Very courteous always, and often checking with us to annotate planned location of items in the new home. Packing was accomplished in one day---team arrived the next day and loaded the van in a few hours, even adding some last minute change-of-mind items with no problem. Trip included one day of travel, with delivery the following day. When we arrived early at the new home on delivery day, Gore Moving crew was already there! Unloading went quickly and smoothly, no items damaged, well organized placement by room which heped us a lot. Stuck to the original estimate by type of items, interstate requirements, etc. even though we did add/change a few things on our part. We are thankful to John and all at Gore for making our move as easy as possible. Can't go wrong with these guys whether you going out of state like we did, or going across the street!

Gore Moving and Storage is excellent. They are professional, efficient, always on time, and take great care of your furniture and valuables. We researched movers and found that their price and service is better than any other company in the area. We were not disappointed. I would use them again in an instant. In fact, they are the only moving company I will consider.

John Gore and his team at Gore Moving were awesome. I interviewed 3 other companies aside from Gore and was seriously losing faith in the moving industry (I even felt it necessary to write a letter of complaint to the owner of one of the companies whose sales person used profanities, peed in my bathroom and mentioned going to get a six pack after leaving my home....). Anyway, John Gore himself came to my house to estimate the move. I felt no pressure- there was no sales pitch happening, just a respectful visit to my home including a quick walk through, some questions and a quote later that day. John is an honest man and I sensed that from our visit which is why I hired him. Moving day came and he and his guys worked quickly, did not damage anything, were fun and the end quote came in about $100 less than estimated. Honest guys making an honest living is how I'd sum up their service at Gore Moving. Since using them I've had my mother in law and a friend of the family sign up with GORE for their moves and they were also very pleased. Trust me, there seem to be a lot of shady moving companies out there and GORE is not one of them. Not that I ever want to move again, but if I do I will only call John Gore back.

This was a downsize but not an easy move. We had used them on prior moves and felt comfortable coming back to them and it proved wise. they had the past details and had a plan in place in short order. They showed up with plenty of equipment and people and made short work of the job. They got there early, left far sooner than expected, and everything was in perfect condition. Moving in the city is a challenge but they did it withour a hitch.

Punctual and got the job done. Pleased with their service.
