Royal River Heat Pumps

The owner Scott never registered my Heatpumpdude when I bought them and now he won’t warranty them.

Service Tech spent a few hours doing a thorough cleaning 4 Mitsubishi inside wall units and 2 outside heat pumps. Checked out operation afterwards. Explained some features of our remote control we weren't aware of. Overall did an excellent job.

It couldn't have gone more smoothly-from start to finish. The estimate was propmt, as was the work crew. Follow up and all paperwork, including rebate application was efficient and all so easy. It was a positive experience all the way around.

I had been considering a heat pump system for a few months, after pretty much freezing thru the winter of 2014-2015. Bought the house in 2012 which was heated, upstairs only, with a gas decorative stove. I got estimates from 4 local HVAC companies, all but one found on the Efficiency Maine website. Scott at Royal River contacted me very quickly after I called and was professional and personable when we met. He explained everything in details which I could understand and understood that this was a large financial investment for me, unlike one of the other companies I contacted. Royal River also had an additional rebate from the manufacturer that the other companies did not have, so that helped to bring the cost down. His installation crew was efficient and professional, completed the job and cleaned up in about 4 hours. Scott came by after and again a day or so later when I had further questions. He did all the paperwork for the rebates which came thru as promised. I had been skeptical that the system could work as well as explained. I am no longer. During the humid late summer months, it worked perfectly as a dehumidifier and AC on the handful of days I needed that. My electric bill did not go up at all compared to other years. In the already cool basement, the dehumidifier does its job as a dehumidifier but also cools, as Scott told me it would. I didn't use it much there. Now that the hearing season is here, I am even more impressed.. It does everything I was promised and Scott's decision on where to place the units was right on. I find myself turning the temperature DOWN more than up, because it is as efficient as he promised it would be. I highly recommend Royal River Heat pumps.

Service was exceptional. Scott, the owner, explained the process in detail and answered every question I had regarding heat pumps in general. The crew that did the installation was extremely organized and worked very well together and with me. They made very little mess and cleaned up what they did make. At the end of the install, they also carefully explained how to use the remotes and went over the manual. Additionally, Scott came over a couple of days later to make sure I was happy, understood the remote and answer more questions. I had never heard of heat pumps until a few months ago. Now I see them being installed everywhere. So far, I love mine as they are quiet and efficient.
