Painting Plus

Terrible. Almost a year later, the job isn't finished and it appears unlikely it will be because the owner of the company says he doesn't have the money. This despite us paying partially up front, ostensibly, to pay for the materials/labor. We first hired the company at the end of last summer and had to call several times to get them to show up. Or they would paint for a day, then let a week-plus go by without painting or telling us why other than they had several jobs going at the same time. Because of the delays, we got into the rainy season/early cold and the ability to finish the job was in jeopardy. By this time, however, it was long past the time the entire job could have been finished. We had to have a very formal, uncomfortable meeting with the owner to go over the contract line by line, pointing out that of several specific agreed-upon jobs, not a single one had been completed. The owner apologized and said it had to do with unreliable workers, He promised that we would be the first job he did in the spring of 2012. We asked to have the percentage of our money refunded to reflect the percentage of work done, and he said he didn't have any money to do that. Come this spring, when we called to hold him to his promise to do our painting job - which we've already paid for - he explained he couldn't because he had no money and was said we were "harassing" him because we called him. He said he would get to our job - after he got another painting job to pay for ours. Last time I checked, that was called a Ponzi scheme and illegal. So, no, I cannot recommend Painting Plus for any work. As it is, I'm checking out the process for small claims court.

Arrived on time , completed the work as promised,within estimate (no problem with a few add ons) cleaned up everyday ,very satisfied with his work and will recomend them to anyone!!!
