The project went great, no issues or hassles!

Gnome landscape and his crew e-mail the time they will arrive to start the clearing process Starting with the driveway and the porches Later the crew returns clean up the snow on the paths to the house. Finally the crew arrives to clear the flat roof of snow. And we can add jobs we would like done via e-mail.....which is very handy So by time the sun came out everything was cleared of snow....

Gnome did a great job. Their teams were very professional. They arrived on time for each of the summer maintenance visits. The flower borders, shrubs and vegetable gardens are look great!

They did a very good, quality work. They were prompt, they did come when they said they would come.

We had Gnome remove a portion of a retaining wall and some granite slab steps that had sunk unevenly and were in disrepair. They installed proper drainage and replaced the stones and the wall portions evenly. This project was required by our insurance company and Todd Marco was more than willing to work within the time frame and parameters they had dictated. I would also note that the work was performed to the insurance company's satisfaction. Todd Marco was always responsive, by phone and email, and quickly provided an estimate for us, which was the lowest price we received from three contractors. I also had Gnome deliver some loam and stone for a regrading/reseeding project. The product was high quality, reasonably priced and delivered in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend Gnome for any landscaping or masonry project.

Gnome was great from the very first day I spoke with them. I initially contacted them to redesign the front garden of my house that I had just moved in. They initially came in around the fall and raked old bushes, a small tree that was growing to close to the house and all ornamental grasses that were overgrown and in the middle of entrances. Then in the spring I met with Anne who is the garden designer to go over patterns, colors and how I would envision the project. We then met a second time to go over the final sketch and estimate. After that Chace the landscape manger called me to set up a data to start the project. they were late 3 days, but it really did not affect the work. They are friendly, professional, responsive and focused on details. I decided to change the lighting last minute and they came again on a later date to change it. Final work was beautiful and now I enjoy every single day my new garden and landscape.

They are a punctual, professional company, great project manager and fantastic crew. They worked on some pretty hot summer days, and didn't let it slow them down. There were no surprised or letdowns... Our lawn is coming in nicely, they came back after three weeks with some heavy rain and re-seeded a few areas. They also did an amazing job of cleaning up and even removed pallets for us when our pavers came in. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Great - one had been trampeled at the installation and didn't look good once spring came, so Gnome replaced it free of charge.

Gnome designed and maintained our quarter acre garden. They were cordial, good at explaining their work and kept absolutely in touch. They are very pricey, but worth it. We had a gardner before Gnome who gave us a very low hourly rate but who was so incompetent that he could take an entire day on our small garden. Gnome turned out to be cheaper, over time, than the cheaper gardner

The produced a proposal that was 3 times my budget that I was not able to break down into pieces that I could move forward with. I was very disappointed. Their plan was not easily broken down into phases that I could implement as my finances permitted, A $15K plan for a $200K property just didn't make sense to me.

We had a walkway put in and a granite post put in and it looks beautiful. Gnome is a pretty well known person and you should have a lot of postive responses on your Angie's List.

They did considerable design consultation with us. We were very pleased with the workmanship of the two people who did the insulation work. They were very knowledgeable and very professional. They were also very pleasant to deal with. We would use them again.

It was a free estimate. The quote was open-ended, so that was one of the reasons why we didn't go with them. They were anticipating a bigger project than we were. We couldn't afford them.

They are very professional and very friendly. They did a very good job on the work that I had done. Their prices are comparable to that of others in this area. The owner always comes out before each job and talks to me and goes over what they are going to do. The communication is quite good. I have e-mailed them any questions or concerns that I may have had and they have always e-mailed me back.

I've had one meeting with them, and we've correspondence by email. I thought it was a pretty good quote.

Came on time for the estimate in early August. Said it would be about a month - and it was. Got an email on a Thursday asking if the next Tuesday would be OK for us. Crew showed up early on Tuesday and were done by late afternoon, Very thorough clean up. The two fellows working the job were very knowledgeable and extremely pleasant. All in all, a very good experience.

The end result was excellent, but it took a couple of tries to get there. I had given them a plan and the workmen had some trouble reading it. Instead of ringing the doorbell and asking me what I wanted, they did their best to figure it out, but one area had to be done over. There was also some miscommunication between the manager and the workmen regarding how the patio should be pitched. After it was finished a huge puddle would form after it rained. I asked for it to be fixed and they re-laid the entire area (at no additional charge) in order to fix it.

They were there to start on time, got to work and completed on time. There were a couple of things I didn't like which were responded to immediately to my satisfaction. I find that they want their customers to be satisfied and will work to that end. This company is professional, the quality is excellent. I only wish I had more cash to spend on hardscapes. I would recommend them without reservation.

They did an excellent job. It was priced well and it they were very efficient and they had fantastic attention to detail.

I discovered Gnome at the Portland Flower Show, where I was able to discuss my project with the actual designer who would ultimately work on my project. He met me at my house lot to discuss my ideas, and spent a good amount of time assessing the natural environment. When my plan was ready, he spent some time going over the various aspects of the design, and supplied me with many sources from which to purchase the plants and other materials. The plan was exactly what I needed to create a unique, sustainable landscape that fits well with the natural woodland setting of my house.

They were able to work around my schedule and arrived when I expected them to arrive. The job took 2 1/2 days. They asked me a couple of times to come outside and verify that I was happy with how things were going. I had a few comments and they were able to adjust what they were doing to accommodate what I wanted. They did a great job! The new patio looks great! It looks like it has always been there.

They had a really nice work crew. They were very polite and professional. I was impressed with them. They were friendly as well. They even came back and did some repair work on our stone wall. They have great customer service. I would definitely use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.
