We needed someone to finish the paint job on our new living room and we were anxious to have it done within the week to accommodate expected guests. John agreed to fit us in a few days after I called and estimated that the job would take 2 days of work. He arrived punctually and worked hard. He did a good job painting a difficult room with lots of molding and exposed beams. He only charged me for 9 hours rather than the 16 I was fearing, and made a point of not counting the first 15 minutes ("because I would normally have come out and done an estimate, but we just talked over the phone"). He cleaned up diligently (I did find more paint splatters than I would like, but this was a relatively minor problem). He was always courteous and explained his comings and goings so we knew when to expect him. This was a small job, but important to me to get done quickly. I would definitely call him again when and if we take on painting other rooms in the house.

John and his crew were thorough, careful, mindful of the need to protect surfaces, on budget, did repairs to walls (e.g., mudded/filled rough spots), etc. I would not hesitate to hire them again!

We had moved and needed the condo repainted for new renters. It was painted in approximately three days as discussed. If there was any change in the price we were notified before anything was done. Walls were painted, trim, doors. They did a great job.

It went very well. Dana is an artist and had several great suggestions that really helped me to get the beautiful result I wanted. He is professional, helpful, pays attention to details and is and very hard working.

They arrived within 10 minutes of the start time we agreed upon, were courteous and professional. They worked hard and almost nonstop. After the work was completed, they offered to come back if we noticed anything that they might have missed, which is possible considering they were using white paints all day! We've done most of our painting to prepare out house for going on the market, but it was nice to have a small break with such a great company at an affordable price.

John was flexible when we needed to delay the project by approximately 1 month. We live 4 hours away, so needed to count on John and his helper Josh in our absence. We were there however, for the first day of work. We noticed some small irregularities but assumed things would be okay. Long story short, they weren't. Newly installed hardwood floors were poorly covered, with masking tape directly used to attach too-little paper. A too-small plastic drop cloth was also in use. Paint splattered in multiple places on the new floor, which he was aware was new. Window blinds (that we planned to keep) were in a heap on the floor, with some hardware broken. Eight days after they started, with little work done and too many concerns, we had to exercise our right to terminate the contract. We were billed and paid over $2,000 for very little accomplished. To his credit, John was very civilized when we terminated the contract. We think that with more experience and more care, this young man's business has potential.

The whole experience getting an apartment pained before I moved in was really easy. The meeting for the quote and the painting went as expected. I went away on a 3 day business trip and the job was done when I returned. The place was left clean and the painting was very professional. Some of my walls are 2 stories high and I wanted a couple of different colors on the architectural details. The apartment walls had already been patched and prepped, so I can't speak to that element of a paint job. I would definitely use them again.

We got everything we asked for and more. John and his team delivered above and beyond (and most importantly ON TIME). They were also on budget--not an easy task for a project of this size. John was never late to an appointment, nor did he need to be "nudged" at any point in time during this very large project. They treated our house like it was their home, and left no mess to clean up. I have never worked with someone as professional, and would recommend for a project of any size. They really are the best.

John showed up on time and reviewed what I needed accomplished. He got to work and completed everything in a very timely and professional manner.

John is very professional. He provided an estimate in a timely manner, which was accurate. He clearly explained what the additional charges would be, if any, but there were none. John is easy to work with and stopped by a couple of times to discuss our color scheme and give feedback. The paint job is excellent and we are very pleased and will use him in the future. We have recommended him to others.

It was an average or a "C" job. They were prompt, courteous, and responded quickly to concerns. The job was accomplished is fewer days than quoted, but the rapidness of the work led to shortcuts and inaccuracies. The errors were corrected in a timely fashion. I might use the company again, but, if I did so, I would put detailed expectations/explanations in writing and more closely observe/critique the work.

Dana and John are great guys and extremely hard working professionals. They were a referral from my wife's friend who had her interior done. Out of the (3) bids we received they were significantly lower priced but didn't sacrifice anything in terms of quality of work and paint coverage. Dana came out to price the job and helped us with room color selection. They started at 8 and went straight through to 6PM. They took their time and didn't rush through anything. Most rooms needed 2 coats with a couple adding a 3rd since we had some interesting colors to replace in the kid's rooms. They were able to navigate around us while working, no disruption to my working out of the house and did spot cleanups every day. It's been a couple of weeks since completion and the interior of the house looks tremendous. A great investment and we picked the right company to do the work. Boxford is the furthest south they'll come but worth calling. We'll definitely use them should we want to do the other two rooms they didn't touch.
