It's really hard to sum up the experience succinctly. We'd never built before, but Dean put us at ease right from the start. My wife really appreciated that he treated her like an equal, and respectfully listened to any concerns she had. He talked to her, and not just to me like some guys do. I loved Dean's availability. He responded promptly. Early on, Dean told us that with a process as complex as home building there are bound to be issues along the way, "the key" he told us, "was to handle them together and honestly." And that is how it went! We truly had a collaborative building experience and I am thrilled with the work that was done.

The basement project went very well. It is like a house in and of itself. Dean Smith also built the house in 2021. They built a shed when they did the basement. The company roofed the house and shed. I am very pleased with the quality of their work.

I am very happy with my build. Dean Smith Construction did quality work in adequate time. The house is very well insulated and the crew was flexible with our needs.

Dean was very helpful in designing our bathroom and helping us find the subcontractors we needed to complete our project. Our master bathroom was almost gutted and rebuilt to have a beautifully tiled walk in, double head shower with glass doors. The original jet tub was replaced with a freestanding soaking tub. Remodels are hard but Dean and his team gave us our dream bathroom. We also worked with Dean to replace and extend our deck and add a patio. The backyard is now an oasis that we love and enjoy!
