+ -1 moreThe construction project went very well. There were no unpleasant surprises, or any unforeseen expenses.
Description of Work: Mr. Sullivan tore down a masonry chimney that had been built in October of 2012 with improper materials. Cement bricks were used instead of clay bricks, the chimney had no lead flashing, and it was out of plumb. Water was running down the outside of the chimney structure into our basement during rain storms. We knew that we must get the chimney rebuilt before the winter season began in order to protect our roof. Mr. Sullivan was highly recommended by Ernie Hein, the division manager of Brooks Bricks in Brewer. We hired Mr. Sullivan to tear down the faulty chimney and rebuild it for $1300.00. The new structure was well built and has not leaked since. We have been very pleased with his work.
