Trashman

The interior of my home needed to be renovated, in some areas taken down to sub-subfloor and rebuilt. All this had to be done on a shoestring budget. My brother had been helping as much as possible but he lives out of state and has a small family. Naturally He needs to spend time with and on them. After months of his help, my home was partially demolished, partially re-installed but the work had stalled. I ran into Bill (Trashman) totally by accident at a coffee shop, saw he serviced the area, introduced myself, and asked if he could come by to provide a quote. He was most accommodating, came to my home about 30 minutes later, saw the bagged debris to be removed from prior work done by my brother, and took a look at my unwanted brick hearth. Upon closer inspection, he found he could tip the hearth from the floor with a pry-bar, indicated he could remove this fairly easily with the help of one of his workers and would be back in 2 days at noon. He and Robert came early, completed the demolishment of my hearth efficiently and without fuss, and when I suggested it would be nice if they could take the surrounding floor with them, they demolished that too, without fuss, neatly, about 10x quicker than my brother and I had been able to do, and arranged to come back to pull up more at my request. Over the next several weeks Bill and Robert or another helper would come and either demo floor or install new subfloor, move heavy furniture, remove debris, sand floor and remove sawdust. Additional flooring material was stored safely and neatly in my barn. Arrangements have been made to have Trashman pick up my trash once I'm living in the house again. I highly recommend his services. He is always prompt or early, always reasonable about cost, and almost has to be told to take a break (and when he does, it is a very short one). Hard worker. Definitely recommend his services.
