Description of Work: Reupholstered a 200+ yr old sofa, which required that some wooden parts be replaced/repaired. Excellent job; very happy with results!

Description of Work: Nancy has reupholstered several items for us. When a communication glitch resulted in a finished product we were not satisfied with, she immediately took it back and re-did the job at no-charge. Our satisfaction was primary for her, and she stood by this policy even though we offered to split the cost with her. She is a professional in every sense of the word.

Description of Work: Nancy Sherin is booked about 5 mos. in advance, so one must plan accordingly. In our case, we wanted a late 1940's sofa rebuilt and reupholstered, and time was not particularly a factor. I contacted her in the fall, she told me up front that she couldn't do the job until towards the end of Jan. We accepted her terms and are very pleased.

Description of Work: I contacted Brunswick Reupholstering via email. Nancy replied right away with an estimate for yardage and reupholstery. Having run into a number of dead ends, I appreciated her quick response. The cost of reupholstering my sofa would be approx. $650 - $700 and the estimate for the chaise was $900 -$1,000.

Description of Work: Overall I'm very happy with my experience with getting an old rocking chair reupholstered that belonged to my great grandfather. I called and left a message on the answering machine and was called back within approximately 30 minutes. When I arrived there were large amounts of fabric samples and with a deposit for the fabric my order was taken. Within about a month's time I received a call from Nancy stating that my chair was ready for pick up. Everything was done above my expectations and Nancy was even able to to fix the bottom of the rocking chair. The only reason that I put a "B" rather than an "A" for pricing is because the total cost was over what the estimate was that I was given. However, to be fair, as stated before, Nancy did have to make repairs to the chair to be able to properly staple the bottom piece of fabric onto the rocking chair. I have no issues with the price that I ultimately paid for the chair and love the chair.

Description of Work: I had all new couch cushions made for two small couches and new cushions made for a Morris Chair. The old cushions could not be reused or even used as a model since they were all two small for the pieces to begin with. Lots of great fabrics to choose from. I was able to transport one of the two identical couches and the chair to the shop for measurements and evaluation of rebuilding the cushions from scratch.

Description of Work: I had a beloved sofa reupholstered by Brunswick Reupholstering. It is a large 84" sleep sofa over 15 years old which is very comfortable. It was redone in a fabric I picked from the owner's samples with the owner's help. The work included covering additional pillows in a different fabric I provided. She removed the sleep mechanism from the sofa in my home. She picked up and delivered the reupholstered sofa and reattached the sleep mechanism.
