+ -1 moreReplacing toilet fill valve and it started leaking when I turned the water back on. Shut off valve wouldn't stop the water flow and needed to be replaced. Nichol's Plumbing arrived sooner than estimated and made the repair in less than 30 minutes.

+ -1 moreGreat! Very good knowledgeable plumber, was recommended by contractor friend - how I wish we had used him for the original plumbing hookups when we built the house in October. A little sticker shock when we were billed -- but that is what plumbers cost nowadays. Very personable plumber - in particular, kept us constantly and closely informed as appointment approached - that's a real professional.
Description of Work: Completed unfinished plumbing for new house which was not fully done by previous contracted plumber. Installed expansion tank, large sections of house areas stop valves for house supply of water, hot and cold, which were missing from previous plumber, outdoor hot and cold spigot, overflow valve missing piping, kitchen water filter undercounter system.

drain cleaning
+ -1 moreWoke one spring morning after heavy rain with clean water spraying up through sewer pipe in down stairs of raised ranch, and water seeping up through cracks in foundation floor. Called Nichols because they do work for my church. They arrived within 90 minutes and determined that the Maple in the front yard had grown roots into our drain pipe that leads to the town drain water runoff pipe. this was causing water to back up in our pipes, and water from the yard to back up under the house. They roto-rooted the pipe, and the water problem was resolved. To this day we have had no water issues in our first floor
Description of Work: Cleaning out the roots that had grown into our pipe that lead to town drain water runoff.
