 + -1 moreThis was a smooth transaction from start to finish. Initially, I had Advanced heating come out for a service call. My furnace would shut off and not cycle back on. They determined that the system could not be fixed, which was not a surprise as it was very old. i then got a prompt quote for replacement options. Once I had made a decision on which system to go with, the furnace was ordered and everything fell smoothly into place. The furnace was installed, old furnace and oil tank were removed and sheet metal sub-contractor retro-fitted the system. So far the new system works beautifully and I am completely satisfied!
Description of Work: Advanced heating replaced my ancient oil furnace with a new propance furnace. All work was done in a timely manner, with complete professionalism. All elements of the old system were removed (i.e.furnace, oil tank) and the new system was installed.

 + -1 moreI don't have the details available at this time as I had not heard of Angie's List and had not researched Advanced Heating through Angie's List. I would say that my recent encounter with Mr. Blanchard (two years after the furnace installation) was just as professional as when he replaced the boiler. His patience and concern for my wellbeing is to be applauded.
Description of Work: Mr.Blanchard replaced my old furnace with a Biasi 4 cold start boiler. He was very professional and the installation went smoothly. While he was installing the furnace, my chimney needed to be relined and he and the other contractor worked well together. The end of October 2011 (after a Nor'easter), I had a problem with the furnace - it turned out to be the thermostat after Mr. Blanchard arrived from my frantic call for help. He told me how to replace the thermostate (and also offered to provide the service for me) and told me to call if I had any problems. His professionalism is fantastic and I would rate him at 110% or higher.
