I DID NOT HIRE THEM!!!! I am purchasing a foreclosed home that is in Levant, Maine from a bank in Ohio, this was their company that they hired to winterize and un-winterize the house. The house was originally "winterized" in October and we started the buying process in the end of January to first week of February. About February 8th they were notified to "un-winterize" the house and notify our realestate agent when the systems are up and running so that we could complete our tests and inspections. A week later we found out that they went out, repaired 7 breaks from frozen pipes (shouldnt have frozen if wintered correctly in the first place) and then shut down the systems without notifying us and "re-winterized". After alot of hassel, they were finally ordered to return to the house and "un-winterize" and LEAVE the house systems up and running, again they had to make several pipe repairs because it was inproperly winterized the second time. Our apraiser and inspector went in when the plumbers were"done" and found no water pressure because the pump would not turn on, a foot diameter hole in the sheet rock in the basement but no pipes behind it, a leak in the baseboard pipe in the living room, and the boiler pressure valve was leaking. It took them a couple of days to get back out there and all they did was fix the pump, it still had the leak in the living room and a leaking boiler pressure valve. Again they were sent out, this the sixth (6th) time to fix the boiler valve and leak in living room. Boiler leak ended up fixted but it still had the leak in the living room. Found out that at the leak all they were doing is just melting solder on the outside. i was finally given the ok to hire my own guy so I hired Andy Witham of Withams Heating. I called him on friday and he said he would make it his priority first thing monday morning. Monday at 8am i called Andys cell phone and he was unlocking the door to the house to fix the pipe. I arived at the house at 8:26am and he and his helper had finished the repair. They drained the system, pulled the pipes apart, cleaned them up, and put them back together and got the system back up and running in 20 minutes. PERFECT JOB!! 20 minutes!!! Calamity daves guys couldnt do it right in 3 trips!!! we should have closed on february 28th and because of them today is March 14th and the pipe was just repaired today and we havnt closed yet. And we have to pay to repair the holes in the sheet rock. Once they left the front door completely unlock so that anybody could go in.
