DAVE'S FLOOR SANDING

Not well. Installers did all the cutting indoors creating a ridiculous amount of sawdust and dust everywhere, including inside of kitchen cabinets. Cleanup was difficult and expensive adding to the cost of the floor. Various areas were top nailed, the putty color used by installers wasn't even close to the color of the floor. Various boards have elevated and required replacement x 2. These boards after 1 year are again elevated and need attention. Have contacted Dave several times but no return calls or text messages.

Got the usual "will return your call as soon as possible" message when I left word on Dave' answering machine but never heard from him. This isn't uncommon among some contractors and I wouldn't recommend them to others. 6/17/14 Update Neighbors used this service about a year ago and were very satisfied. Said Dave was careful and did a fine job. Because we need to refinish our floors we decided to try Dave again. He still did not return calls. Our builder finally reached his wife who said Dave would call back. He didn't and when our builder checked, he found Dave had gone on vacation for two weeks.
