+ -1 moreThe owner did the estimate. We were given a written estimate of $850.00. We paid $90.00 deposit for the move. The men who performed the move were excellent. Nothing was lost or broken and they worked continuously with the exception of one short break and lunch. At the completion of the move I was presented with a bill for $1,163.00. Now I understand that estimates are just that an estimate of cost and there is always some adjustment necessary because I have moved my entire home. However, a difference of over $300 on an estimate $850 I felt was way beyond the norm. I have all of the paperwork which supports everything I am discussing. I called the owner and left a message. He returned my call, I explained my concern, he told me he would, "have to go back and do his homework" and I've never heard from him again.
Description of Work: Moving a one bedroom apartment.
