Lapointe Lumber Award

Description of Work: The kitchen/bath designer with whom we worked was terrific UNTIL SHE GOT THE SALE. From that point on she was unresponsive, made many critical mistakes, did not order products required and blamed everyone else. The only thing that saved this company from a law suit was the president's doing what she could to resolve the issues. Unfortunately, that resolution came well after our deadline and the visit of many family members, a reunion for 28 people, a family birthday for 21, and a breakfast for 20.

Description of Work: This is a hard review to write since it involves two elements. We contacted their kitchen design person in early April, giving her our timing parameters. She was very knowledgeable and helpful.................until she had the order. After that, we got little to no response to any email of text messages. She would only respond to our contractor and usually with delay. Additionally, there were many mistakes and omissions which were(of course) not her fault. When the mistakes became evident, she never ordered the corrections so our 6 week project became a 12-14 week one which severely impacted the visit of our children and their families and a family reunion of 28 people. The only reason I have given them an overall, professionalism, and responsiveness of "D" is that when I contacted the president of the company, she was very helpful. Unfortunately, the bad taste remains due to the original kitchen designer.
